Privacy Policy

Resident doesn’t collect or share your data. It has no accounts and no analytics.

Your chats, the files you attach and your instructions stay on your device.

Resident goes online only to:

• download the AI model the first time you open it, from Hugging Face. It first asks ozvel.com which files to fetch and sends its version number.
• search the web. It sends your search terms to DuckDuckGo.
• read web pages: links you paste, and pages it opens to answer you.
• check the weather. It sends the place name to Apple to find it on the map, and that location to Apple Weather.

Turn off internet access in the toolbar or in Settings, and Resident stays offline.
